Priced at a substantial €49,500 ($52,200), the Touge edition—named after the Japanese term for mountain pass—is equipped exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The 2024 Subaru BRZ Touge showcases 18-inch OZ Racing Ultraleggera Race Gold wheels, adorned with special Touge insignia and fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 215/40 tires. Impressively, each of these specialized wheels weighs in at just 8.7 kilograms (19 pounds). Buyers have the option to swap these out for standard 18-inch Dark Gray wheels, which come with a set of Yokohama BluEarth Winter V905 tires.
In addition to its distinct wheels, this limited edition features a subtle STI body kit, including front and rear spoilers and side skirts, that harmonize with the vehicle's Blue Pearl exterior. Rounding out the rear, the dual exhausts are part of an Italian-crafted Supersprint system, enhanced by special finishers inscribed with "Subaru BRZ Touge" and the Japanese characters for mountain pass.
At its core, the BRZ Touge is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter gasoline engine, capable of generating 231 horsepower (172 kilowatts) and 250 Newton-meters (184 pound-feet) of torque.
This Italian special edition comes on the heels of last month's BRZ STI Sport release in Japan and the BRZ tS debut in the United States this past July. Its sibling, the GR86, has also seen its share of unique versions, including the unveiling of an AE86 40th Anniversary Edition in Japan last September, paralleling the U.S.-spec Trueno Edition.
