Lucid Motors, maker of the all-electric Air sedan, may add native support for Apple and Amazon Music in its cars, according to a new job listing posted on the company's official LinkedIn account.

Lucid Motors is on the hunt for a Senior Product Manager to oversee Media Partner Management. This role will be critical in managing the partnership with Apple, Amazon Music, and other media applications, hinting at the potential inclusion of dedicated controls for these streaming services within their vehicles.

This move would mirror Tesla's approach, which already includes direct integration with a variety of music services, including Apple Music. It's an exciting development for Lucid owners who currently enjoy Apple CarPlay in both wired and wireless forms as a standard feature in the Air model.

Lucid Air Sapphire

The entry-level Lucid Air, priced at $78,900, boasts a robust 430 horsepower and 406 pound-feet (550 Nm) of torque from a single electric motor, allowing it to dash from a standstill to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds. With an 88-kilowatt-hour Long Range battery, it promises up to 410 miles (660 km) of range on 19-inch wheels.

For those seeking unparalleled performance, the $249,000 Lucid Air Sapphire sits at the pinnacle of the lineup with a tri-motor setup delivering an earth-shattering 1,234 horsepower. It claims the title of the most powerful production sedan, dashing to 60 mph in an astounding 1.89 seconds and reaching a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), narrowly outpacing the Tesla Model S Plaid.

The forthcoming Gravity SUV is set to share powertrains with the Air, and its highly anticipated debut is slated for later this month.
