This will be the world debut of MG’s supermini which is set to be offered to European customers for the first time in 2024.

Small in dimensions, big in efficiency and features: the MG3 will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in about three weeks. Its first public appearance is scheduled for February 26th at 10:30 a.m. Additionally, the Chinese brand has released more photos of this car. According to the manufacturer, the heart of the new MG3 is the efficient Hybrid Plus drivetrain.

This series originated from the Rover Streetwise, which transformed into the MG 3SW after being acquired by SAIC. Production of the MG3SW continued until 2013. Additionally, from 2011 to 2022, an entirely independent four-meter-long MG3 was manufactured in Birmingham and sold in Great Britain.

The new smallest MG is expected to be approximately four meters long and will feature key styling elements from the series. These include a large radiator grille with three-dimensional elements and a sloping nose resembling that of the MG 4, as shown in the teaser image.

“The MG3 is poised to deliver an exceptional blend of real-world performance, economy, refinement, and technology for a hybrid B-segment hatchback. We’re confident it will be a very strong challenger in a market where customers demand both excellent value and practicality.” said Aiden He, CEO of MG Nordic & Benelux.

MG's upcoming flagship, the Cyberster, will also be featured in Geneva. The all-electric roadster's colour choices will be announced and MG will confirm the convertible's performance, power and range figures.
