The Seres 3 isn't just about affordability; it also promises impressive performance. Powered by a 54kWh battery, it boasts a range of 205 miles (330 km) under mixed driving conditions, as per the official WLTP figures. For city drivers, this range can stretch up to 315 miles (507 km).
When it's time to recharge, the Seres 3 doesn't keep you waiting. A rapid charger can boost the battery from 20 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. The SUV's electric motor delivers a punchy 161 hp and 195 Nm of torque, enabling an acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 8.9 seconds.
Dimension-wise, the Seres 3 measuring 4,385mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,650mm in height. It is offering more space than the compact MG ZS EV, and is comparable to mid-size options like the Nissan Qashqai.
The vehicle comes in two trim levels: Active and Spirit. The Active trim includes a host of features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a reversing camera, rear parking sensors, keyless start, 18-inch alloy wheels, and sophisticated leather-style seats.
Opting for the Spirit trim, priced at £31,995, adds amenities like a panoramic sunroof, a wireless smartphone charging pad, keyless entry, cruise control, lane departure warning, front parking sensors, heated front seats, and power folding side mirrors.
UK firm Innovation Automotive will manage the sales of the Seres 3, alongside the upcoming Skywell BE11 – another all-electric SUV from China set to arrive this summer.
