Renault never ceases to amaze. Not only can the new Renault 5 electric hatchback be ordered with the original baguette holder, but it looks like the company is creating a whole ecosystem of accessories and gadgets around it. A prime example of this is the PlayeR5 cassette player, which can be bought from Renault's online shop for €180.
The portable player with an aluminium body is painted in yellow and black as a concept version of the modern Renault 5. It has 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone, as well as Bluetooth. The battery should last for 8-10 hours. The dimensions of the device are 140.8 x 88.8 x 33.5mm
The kit includes a USB cable for charging and a 60-minute blank cassette. Especially for connoisseurs, there's another nice bonus - a stylus that can be used to rewind the film manually.
There's plenty more to discover in Renault's online shop, from branded hoodies and miniature Renault 5s, to a 3.8 metre race track and even a bicycle for €2,700.
