The new Nissan Kicks actually ditches the signature V-Motion grille and adopts a sleeker design overall. The trunk door looks less massive and is complemented by vertical lights on the sides. The exact dimensions of the crossover have not yet been published, but Nissan claims that the model has become larger.
The new interior is dramatically different thanks to a pair of infotainment system screens in the driver's center. The center screen measures up to 12.3 inches, with a 7-inch screen as standard. It controls a host of technology, including optional 360-degree surround-view cameras and an available 10-speaker Bose audio system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless technology are built-in to the system.
Under the hood of the 2025 Nissan Kicks is a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 141 horsepower and 140 lb-ft (190 Nm) of torque and a CVT transmission. And for the first time, you can send that power to all four wheels with Nissan's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system.
Additional driver assistance comes with features like Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Automatic Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and Lane Departure Warning, all standard on the Nissan Safety Shield 360 system. Step up to the SR package and you get ProPilot, which adds steering assist.
Nissan isn't ready to discuss pricing, but promises that information will be available before the on-sale date in the U.S. later this summer. For reference, the Kicks 2024 starts at $22,440.
