The Bentayga Apex Edition introduces several upgrades primarily centered on its use of carbon fiber. The vehicle showcases 22-inch Mulliner carbon wheels, made in collaboration with Bucci Composites. These wheels are not only stronger and stiffer but also reduce the unsprung mass by nearly 24 kilograms compared to standard wheels.
Additionally, the Apex Edition is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes which contribute to a weight reduction of over 20 kilograms. The car also includes a bespoke styling package consisting of exclusive spoilers, mirror caps, and D-pillar badges—all crafted from carbon fiber.
Regarding performance aspects, the Bentayga Apex features a formidable twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering 550 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. It boasts an impressive acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and can reach a top speed of 290 km/h. The SUV also benefits from additional features such as a free-flowing sports exhaust, rear-wheel steering, and active anti-roll control to enhance its dynamic capabilities.
The exterior design of the Bentayga Apex Edition offers six different themes including an exciting new addition—a full-length racing stripe, marking it as a first for any Bentayga model. Although the stripe might stir some controversy among purists, it underscores Bentley's commitment to offering distinctive styling cues for discerning clients.
Inside, Bentley continues the luxury tradition with interiors accentuated with carbon fiber trim, embroidered seats showcasing special stitching work, and exclusive Apex Edition sill plates designed specifically for this edition.
A particularly special matching option is available for owners who already possess models from Bentley’s Le Mans Edition series such as the Continental GT or GTC Le Mans Editions. They can match exteriors in 'Verdant green with Moonbeam stripe' alongside interiors themed 'Beluga with Hotspur accents,' creating a harmonious collection of high-performance vehicles.
Bentley has confined production of this elite model to only 20 units worldwide—each fully customizable allowing owners to create what they call “a true one-of-one expression.”
