Bugatti has partnered with Jacob & Co to create a limited edition Bugatti Tourbillon watch inspired by the Bugatti Tourbillon hybrid sports car. This watch is powered by a miniature V16 engine and is priced at $340,000. Only 150 pieces will be produced.

The new Bugatti Tourbillon watch "reimagines the achievements, complexity, and appearance of Bugatti’s latest hyper sports car." The watch features a black titanium case, and a sapphire engine block with 16 titanium pistons.

However, the real highlight of the watch is the physical demonstration of the V16 engine running for 20 seconds. This is something no smartwatch can replicate.

The watch is made up of 557 components, as well as a 30-second flying tourbillon with a double movement. They are complemented by a crown that mimics the car's control knobs and additional dials that replicate the dashboard, as well as the hypercar's engine speed indicator. On the side, the case also resembles the design of the new Bugatti car, including the grille and side windows.

The watch was created over 18 months in collaboration with the Bugatti design team.

Jacob & Co founder Jacob Arabo said: "I live to push watchmaking to new levels, coming up with designs and complications that no one had even dreamed about. Bugatti is the same. They push everything beyond what everyone thinks is the limit. The Bugatti Tourbillon is our most advanced timepiece, the great achievement of a great partnership."

Only 150 Bugatti Tourbillon watches will be produced - 100 fewer than the Bugatti Tourbillon cars. The watch is priced at $340,000.
