The 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 Standard is now available for $219 per month over 36 months with $3,499 due at signing. This offer is based on an MSRP of $39,735 and allows for 10,000 miles annually. A bulletin sent to dealers today revealed that this trim now includes $9,250 in lease cash, an increase from the previous $8,250.
Interestingly, this matches the lease price for the 2024 Jetta S, even though the Jetta's MSRP is just over $22,000. The ID.4 benefits from significantly better incentives, with a much lower lease rate of 0.7% compared to the Jetta's 2.5%.
The new lease offer makes the ID.4 a more cost-effective option, saving over $100 per month compared to last year's rates. Earlier this year, discounts on 2023 ID.4 leases reached 30% off MSRP, making the 2024 model even more attractive.
With an effective monthly cost of $316, the ID.4 now ties with the Jetta as Volkswagen's cheapest lease option. In Southern California, the ID.4 is now cheaper to lease than a Toyota Corolla, which costs $372 per month.
The ID.4 also offers better lease terms than the Hyundai IONIQ 5 SEL ($330) and the Kia EV6 Light LR ($376), positioning it as one of the best SUVs to lease. Additionally, new ID.4 leases include 500 kWh of charging and a 3-year Electrify America Pass+ membership. These lease prices are valid until September 3rd.
