Scania and Celtech will deliver 288 fuel tankers to the Polish Army. The contract includes two versions of tankers: the CD10 and CD27 Kayman.

The CD10 is a fuel tanker with a dispenser, built on a 6x6 chassis. It can carry 10,000 litres of fuel and offers increased off-road mobility. The vehicle's 13-litre engine meets Euro 3 standards and delivers 460 HP. It's paired with a 14-speed automatic gearbox, a transfer case, and differentials on each axle for superior traction.

The CD10's 630-litre fuel tanks allow for long-distance travel without refueling. The engine can run on various fuels, including FAME, bio-diesel up to 100%, RME (hydrogenated or not), and vegetable or animal oils. This flexibility enhances the vehicle's versatility in different operational scenarios.

The CD27 Kayman is a tractor unit with a fuel dispenser and tank semi-trailer. It's built on a 6x4 chassis and can transport 27,000 litres of fuel. The Kayman shares most of its equipment with the 6x6 vehicles but is designed for long-distance fuel deliveries on asphalt and paved roads. The cabin includes rest facilities for driver comfort during extended missions.

The delivery date for these 288 tankers hasn't been specified. However, once in service, these vehicles will significantly boost the Polish Army's ability to transport and distribute fuel effectively, enhancing its operational capabilities.
