Hennessey has just unveiled the Venom F5-M Roadster, a car that's set to become the world's most powerful manual-shift production vehicle.

The F5-M Roadster packs a punch with its 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering a whopping 1,817 hp (1,842 PS) and 1,193 lb-ft (1,618 Nm) of torque. Hennessey has paired this monstrous powerplant with a six-speed manual transmission, giving drivers full control over all that power.

What sets the F5-M apart from its siblings is its unique design elements. A 55-inch dorsal fin stretches from behind the seats to the rear deck's edge, giving the car a distinctive silhouette. Inside, drivers will find a billet aluminum shift gate and a wider console with horizontally arranged circular air vents.

The cockpit features a yoke-style steering wheel, complete with multiple buttons and no top section. This design allows for a clear view of the rectangular digital gauge pack, putting all the crucial information right in the driver's line of sight.

Nathan Malinick, Hennessey's Director of Design, explained the philosophy behind the F5-M:

"We're extreme, we're authentic, plus we're distinctly and uniquely American [and] these characteristics shine through in the design of the F5-M…and how it performs"

While Hennessey hasn't released specific performance figures, it's safe to say the F5-M will be blisteringly fast. It might not beat its paddle-shift sibling in a drag race, but it'll leave most other cars in the dust.
