Based on the powerful Techart GT Street R, this special edition enhances the already impressive Turbo S model. The car features significant upgrades including a boosted engine performance to 799 horsepower. Only 20 units are being made.
The Monochrome package marks five decades since the original Porsche 911 Turbo rolled out. The GT Street R itself is based on an extremely limited production run of only 87 units. The Monochrome aims to be even more exclusive and unique among luxury sports cars.
Visual enhancements include a distinct Techart crest on the hood and high-performance 22-inch Formula VIII Forged wheels that offer both aesthetic appeal and functional benefits like improved brake cooling. These cars usually come in dark-themed color options, catering to clients seeking a sleek appearance.
The aerodynamics package comes loaded with features like carbon fiber components actively increasing vehicle stability at higher speeds. Engineering additions such as wide fender extensions, aggressive bumper add-ons, and GT3 RS-style vents generate four times more downforce than the stock setup and remarkably reduce lift by 45% at speeds of 140 km/h.
Inside the cabin, luxury meets custom technology with materials such as leather, Alcantara, heritage fabrics, and carbon fiber inserts creating an opulent environment. Customizable elements extend to black aluminum on pedals, footrests, and side sills to enhance both aesthetics and comfort.
Powering this beast is a twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six engine pushing out an eye-watering 799 horsepower with a torque peak at 950 Nm—increasing output significantly over the base Turbo S model by up to 158 hp and by an extra 150 Nm torque making it reach tops speeds around 350 km/h.
Considering its vast enhancements over the standard offering from Porsche, the Monochrome commands approximately €98,250 over the base price of a GT Street R Touring model resulting in pricing that asserts 'If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.'
