Jeremy Clarkson has finally spilled the beans on Top Gear's last Stig. At a private viewing party for The Grand Tour's final episode, Clarkson revealed that Phil Keen was the man behind the white helmet from 2010 to 2022.

The Stig, Top Gear's mysterious masked racer, has been a subject of curiosity for years. Perry McCarthy was the first to don the suit, standing out in all black. Ben Collins took over next, keeping the role until 2010 when he outed himself and published a book.

That's when Keen stepped into the white suit. He kept the secret for over a decade, even as Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May left the show in 2014. Keen continued as The Stig until Top Gear's final episode in 2022.

Clarkson shared this information during a Q&A session at his British pub after showing the last episode of The Grand Tour. It's worth noting that British tabloids had guessed Keen's identity back in 2010, but it was never confirmed until now.

Keen's racing career goes far beyond his time as The Stig. He currently races in the European Le Mans Series and has made a name for himself in GT3 cars. He's driven everything from Lamborghinis to Ferraris, racking up 24 wins and 16 pole positions along the way. He's also been the runner-up in the British GT3 Championship three times.

As for Top Gear, its future remains up in the air. The show came to an abrupt end in December 2022 when co-host Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff got badly hurt during filming. Since then, there's been no word on whether the show will make a comeback.
