The B10 is Leapmotor's third model for Europe. It's joining a crowded field with competitors like the Kia EV3, Jeep Avenger, and Hyundai Kona already established. Leapmotor's got over 200 dealers across 13 markets now and aims to have 500 sales points by 2025.
Built on Leapmotor's LEAP 3.5 platform, the B10 will come in all-electric and range-extended versions. The range-extended model will also have a 1.5-liter engine. Leapmotor says the B10 will have advanced driver assistance systems, a customizable digital cockpit, and smart connectivity.
The B10's exterior has sleek, simplified lines with flush door handles and thin light bars at both ends. It looks a bit like Leapmotor's C10 model, with a hint of Porsche Cayenne in its profile and rear. The interior wasn't on display at the show, but it'll likely have a minimalist cabin with big screens on the dashboard.
Leapmotor hasn't said how much the B10 will cost, but it's expected to be just under €30,000. Europeans can get their hands on one late next year.
We don't know everything about the B10 yet. Leapmotor hasn't shared details on its range, power, or what makes it special compared to other EVs. As the launch gets closer, we'll likely learn more about what sets the B10 apart in the competitive compact SUV market.
