The 2025 Grand Highlander LE will start at $40,860, plus a $1,450 destination fee. That's down from $43,320 for the 2024 XLE base model. Toyota plans to release most versions of the updated SUV in December, with the new LE trim coming in the first half of next year.
The new LE trim comes well-equipped despite its lower price. It includes:
- A power liftgate - 18-inch alloy wheels - Heated power mirrors with blind spot warning - Eight fabric seats - A 12.3-inch infotainment system - Toyota's Safety Sense 3.0 suite of driver aids
Under the hood, the LE has a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. It makes 265 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, with all-wheel drive available for $1,600 extra.
For those wanting better fuel economy, the Hybrid LE starts at $44,210. Its 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain produces 245 horsepower and comes with standard all-wheel drive. Toyota says this version will get 36 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Along with the LE, Toyota will add a Hybrid Nightshade Edition to the lineup. This trim builds on the Hybrid Limited version with blacked-out exterior elements and special interior touches.
The new Hybrid Nightshade Edition costs $52,610. It adds black exterior elements like 20-inch wheels, bumpers, and a spoiler. Inside, it has black leather seats, matte gray accents, and extras like heated/ventilated front seats and a premium audio system.
