Hyundai has surprised us again. The new Palisade 2026 has been transformed into a nine-seater SUV with a cubist look and pixel optics in the style of the IONIQ electric cars.

The front of the Hyundai Palisade 2026 is decorated with large rectangular daytime running lights, and the dipped and main beams are hidden in four sections closer to the massive radiator grille. The wheelbase is now longer than the previous 2,900 mm (exact specifications are not yet available), the front overhang has been reduced, and a double panoramic roof has been added to the top versions. At the rear, everything is minimalist: the exhaust is hidden, the wiper has disappeared under the spoiler, and the taillights stylistically support the front optics.

The interior has become even more technologically advanced. Two 12.3-inch displays are now combined into one panel, but the physical buttons are still there - conservatives can breathe a sigh of relief. The "H" logo on the steering wheel has been replaced with four dots representing this letter in Morse code. The transmission selector has moved to the steering column, and the centre console surprises with transformations: it can be converted into a third seat, which increases the number of seats to 9. A special bonus for South Korea is that the 9-seater version will be able to legally drive in bus lanes.

Hyundai is keeping the engines secret for now, but there is speculation that the model will get a hybrid engine. Technical details and prices are expected to be announced soon.
