Published by Brazilian website Quatrorodas images reveal the next-generation Jeep Compass in several modifications at once. The lime-coloured car is likely to be an electric version, as indicated by the letter "e" on the stern. The car with a white body, black accents and a protective cover on the front is probably the Trailhawk configuration.
On the outside, the Compass is more sculpted, in the same style as the younger Jeep Avenger. The crossover gets sharp arches, modern LED optics and narrow air intakes in the front bumper. Short front and rear overhangs give the car a dynamic look.
The interior of the model showcases a large multimedia display above a row of physical buttons and a rotary washer. The centre console and front fascia are adorned with metallic inserts. Judging by the trim, we are talking about the top configuration with a panoramic roof, projection display and leather interior with contrast stitching.
The new Compass is based on the modular architecture STLA Medium, which is also used by Peugeot 3008/5008, Opel Grandland and Citroën C5 Aircross. In contrast, Jeep will focus on off-road potential, especially in Trailhawk versions with an extended off-road arsenal.
The powertrain range will include an e-Hybrid (mild hybrid) system, a plug-in hybrid and an all-electric version. Outside Europe, conventional petrol versions will probably remain on sale. It is assumed that the electric version based on the Peugeot e-3008 will be able to develop up to 325 hp (239 kW) from two electric motors, and the battery capacity will be 73 or 97 kWh.
Production of the new one is due to start in Italy at the end of 2025. The North American version was originally expected to be produced in Canada from 2026, but due to tariffs on Canadian cars by the US, the model's arrival date is still uncertain.
