Nissan has already launched a page featuring the new Leaf on its US website. There is also a configurator that allows you to compare different trims.

Photos for press releases traditionally showcase new cars in the most expensive configurations with all possible options included. The new Nissan Leaf is no exception. The press photo depicts the car in a two-tone configuration with original 3D-effect rear lights. These lights are dual - part is located on the rear fenders, while the other part is integrated into the trunk door. However, the online configurator shows that this type is exclusive to the Platinum+ configuration, while the S+ and SV+ configurations have a simpler rear end. At least, in the American version.

Images in the gallery below show Nissan Leaf S+, Nissan Leaf SV+, and Nissan Leaf Platinum+.

The rear doors also differ, as the premium version has a black insert in the middle, which is not present in the simpler configurations. Among the more expected differences are the 18-inch steel wheels with covers, an exclusively single-color exterior, and two 12.3-inch displays in the S+ configuration interior. The mid-range SV+ version received 18-inch alloy wheels and two 14.3-inch screens in the interior. The top version Platinum+ received, among other things, 19-inch wheels, a panoramic roof that darkens, and a Bose audio system.

It will be interesting to compare the American and European configurations. They will certainly differ in names and equipment.
