In the new model year, the FX Edition version has been removed from the lineup. At the same time, the more affordable LE and SE trims now come with a digital instrument panel with a 7-inch display. Previously, analog instruments with a small 4.2-inch screen were used.
The top XSE version is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, which has replaced the previous 7-inch display. The same display is now available as an option for the SE trim.
All versions of the 2026 Corolla now come standard with a blind spot monitoring system and rear cross-traffic alert. The standard equipment also includes a suite of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 features - adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, automatic braking with pedestrian detection, and other functions.
The standard Corolla retains a 2.0-liter engine with 169 hp and 205 Nm of torque. Paired with a continuously variable transmission, it provides a fuel consumption of up to 35 mpg combined. The price increase has been moderate: the base LE added $400, as did the SE and XSE trims.
The hybrid Corolla received the same updates - digital instrumentation and a blind spot monitoring system - and now starts at $24,575, which is $750 more than the previous price. The hybrid is equipped with a 1.8-liter engine and an electric motor with a total output of 138 hp. Fuel consumption is up to 50 mpg combined.
In addition, the Corolla Hybrid is available with all-wheel drive. This version costs $1,400 more and uses an additional electric motor on the rear axle as needed.
