BMW has added an unusual option for the M3 Touring station wagon - a completely white leather interior. Currently, this configuration is only available in South Africa.

Previously, BMW offered white seats in other countries, but for the first time in the South African market, it is possible to order an interior where almost everything is white: seats, tunnel, central console, door panels, carpet, pillars, ceiling and even the steering wheel.

The only exception to the white theme is the carbon insert on the dashboard, two large displays, and black seat belts. Otherwise, it is a total monochrome, which is hard to look away from.

From a practical standpoint, the decision is, to put it mildly, controversial. The M3 Touring combines over 530 hp and excellent dynamics with the convenience of a family car, meaning many owners will be transporting children, drinks, and everything that leaves marks in a white interior. Maintaining such an interior in perfect condition will be a challenge.

There are also other nuances. The white leather on the dashboard can create strong reflections on the windshield and may fade or yellow over time in the sun.

For those who are not willing to put up with such difficulties, BMW offers many alternative combinations - for example, with black elements and inserts in bright colors like Yas Marina Blue or Kyalami Orange.
