The updated hatchback and station wagon Peugeot 308 are already on sale in Europe. Research of the configurator showed that the Style version is not only well-equipped but also retained a feature that Peugeot removed from the top GT Exclusive trim.

This refers to the physical climate control panel with two rotary regulators and a set of tactile buttons under the central touchscreen. The same layout is used in the Style, Business, and Allure versions.

However, the GT and GT Exclusive models received touch buttons for quick access “Peugeot i-toggles”. This means that temperature adjustment requires looking at the screen and touching the desired area — a process that distracts more while driving than physical buttons.

The most affordable 308 Style trim comes standard with a 10-inch multimedia system and a 10-inch digital instrument panel, although without the premium materials of higher trims. The trim includes dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, heated mirrors, and electric folding, as well as a sound system with six speakers.

The exterior retains sporty bumpers and fully LED optics of the updated model combined with black 16-inch wheels.

The flagship GT Exclusive trim stands out with diamond-turned 18-inch wheels, expressive side trims, a front bumper extender, and a backlit grille section with the illuminated Peugeot logo and matrix LED headlights.

The GT Exclusive interior features an updated instrument panel with 3D graphics, ambient lighting, Alcantara upholstery, and the 360 Vision Drive Assist Plus package. Options include a Focal sound system with 10 speakers, a panoramic roof, wireless smartphone charging, all-season tires, and a tow hitch.

The updated Peugeot 308 is available with a mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric setup. The most powerful version is the PHEV with 192 hp (143 kW). The Style version is available only with a mild hybrid and electric motor, so for PHEV with physical climate buttons, you will have to choose Business or Allure.

In France, the most powerful version of the 308 Style Hybrid 145 starts at €28,390, while the top GT Exclusive with the same engine costs €33,277. The most expensive is the 308 GT Exclusive Plug-in Hybrid 195 at €39,780, which is €461 more than the equivalent Electrique 156.
