Orders have begun in Australia for the new, even more off-road version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The powerful AMG G63 modification was taken as the basis and prepared for more confident passage of locations without asphalt.

The 2026 Mercedes-AMG G63 Offroad Pro model received the AMG Traction Pro system, which manages torque distribution to each wheel on seven different levels to improve traction on slippery roads. An exclusive feature of the special G-Class is also the AMG Active Ride Control system, enhancing wheel and suspension articulation.

The Active Ride Control system includes an active stabilization package specifically tuned for off-road settings by increasing damper piston diameters and extended reservoirs.

It is also equipped with the AMG Active Balance Control system to improve stability on various surfaces, such as sand, gravel, rocks, and other challenging terrains.

The Offroad Pro model comes with off-road tires instead of standard road tires on 20-inch matte black alloy wheels, as well as rear mudguards and rubber mats in the cabin and trunk. Additionally, a roof rack and rear ladder are installed.

Inside, it also features the AMG Performance steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather, Burmester audio system, wireless smartphone charging, and temperature-controlled cup holders.

The G63 Offroad Pro is powered by a standard 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission, so the power and torque figures remain unchanged at 430 kW and 850 Nm.

Priced at AUD 383,900 (approximately USD 250,000), the new Offroad Pro version is AUD 15,500 (USD 10,100) more expensive than the regular G63.
