The electric minivan with extended range, the Geely Galaxy V900, set a Guinness World Record by accommodating 42 dancers. The record was set on October 27, but the automaker shared the information recently closer to the start of sales.

The average height of the dancers placed in the V900 was 170 cm. The achievement was made possible by the cabin area of 8.41 square meters with a row spacing of over one meter and a space utilization coefficient of 91.8%.

For comparison, the Toyota RAV4 crossover accommodated 41 people in 2015, while the Volkswagen Campervan hosted 50 people in the same year.

The Geely Galaxy V900 is an extended-range version (EREV) of the previously introduced LEVC L380 electric vehicle. The model debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November.

The Galaxy V900 is a large car with a short front end and a flat roof. Its dimensions are 5360/1998/1940 mm with a wheelbase of 3200 mm. The Galaxy V900 cabin is offered in two configurations: a three-row six-seat and a four-row eight-seat.

The V900 comes with 18- or 20-inch wheels. The model can optionally be equipped with electric side steps.
