New colors have been added to the model palette: for the first time for Corolla, matte Onyx Grey for the GR SPORT hatchback and Touring Sports wagon, as well as the new Storm Grey metallic.
The Toyota Manufacturing UK plant in Burnaston became the first facility to introduce the radically new Onyx Grey coating for a production car. This new color option will first be introduced in the UK by the end of 2025, and then in other European markets in 2026.
The ecological profile of the Corolla is enhanced by the use of Samara upholstery—durable fabric made from recycled materials for the seat backs and cushions. Its use is also extended for the first time to a special seat design in the Sedan Mid+ model.
The current Corolla lineup is available with hybrid powertrains based on 1.8 and 2.0-liter gasoline engines.
Today, the Corolla offers a fully digital user experience. This includes a 12.3-inch combined instrument panel and the Toyota Smart Connect+ multimedia system with a 10.5-inch touchscreen.
Corolla remains a key model for Toyota in Europe: the hatchback and Touring Sports wagon are manufactured at the Toyota Manufacturing UK plant, and the sedan at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey.
