Technical specifications: 3-cylinder unit with a capacity of 1,199 cm³, 101 hp (74 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 205 Nm of torque from 1,750 rpm. A variable geometry turbocharger improves response at low revs — for confident movement in the city and during overtaking.
Fuel consumption is controlled thanks to direct injection at a pressure of 350 bar, the valve timing system, and operation under the Miller cycle with increased compression ratio. The engine has undergone over 30,000 hours of bench testing, and prototypes have covered more than 3 million km. Some vehicles have traveled over 200,000 km.
Practical benefits: for some markets, the maintenance interval has doubled — now every 2 years or 25,000 km (previously annually or every 20,000 km). Owners will also receive a warranty under the Peugeot Care program — up to 8 years or 160,000 km depending on the market.
The Turbo 100 will appear in the Peugeot 208 from March 2026, in the Peugeot 2008 — from May 2026.
