Weapons from a downed Russian army Ka-52 helicopter are now firing at their former owners.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine showed in action a new development of the Ukrainian military - a light MLRS based on a conventional Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck. Video published on Twitter.

A modified launcher from a downed Russian Ka-52 helicopter was installed on the cargo platform of the car to launch unguided air-to-ground missiles. Only in the new modification it is more correct to classify the system already as "ground - ground".

Obviously, due to being launched from a fixed platform on the ground, aircraft missiles do not fly as far as when launched from a helicopter. However, the shortcomings of the weapon can be compensated for by the tactics of use and the effectiveness of the new development will be tested in combat.
