Another legendary Ford model will be officially sold in Europe. The Blue Oval has announced the sale of a Jeep Wrangler competitor called the Ford Bronco.

The Ford Bronco will be available in select European left-hand drive markets in the second half of 2023. Ford is not yet ready to reveal the characteristics of the European version of the SUV, which was originally designed for the preferences of the Americans. However, it is known that only a four-door modification will go on sale, although two-door versions are also available in the US.

Goodies like a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system with subwoofer, surround view cameras for off-road driving, and a 12-inch SYNC 4 infotainment system display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also announced as standard. 

Continuing the off-road theme, Ford said the Bronco will arrive in Europe with a standard locking rear differential, an optional front differential lock and a front anti-roll bar disengagement system. In addition, they promise a choice between a two-stage electronic transfer case and a two-stage electromechanical transfer case.

A wide range of accessories will be available for the Ford Bronco. These include improved lighting systems, a rooftop tent, a side awning, roof rails and dedicated ski and bike racks.

New Ford Bronco arrives in 2021. In America, this is one of the iconic Ford models, which has already stepped into the sixth generation. However, this car has never been officially sold in Europe.

In the US, the Ford Bronco is available with 2.3L EcoBoost (304 hp / 224 kW), 2.7L EcoBoost V6 (335 hp / 246 kW), 3.0L EcoBoost V6 (406 hp / 298 kW) gasoline engines ). For the weakest engine, a seven-speed manual gearbox is proposed, and the main transmission is a ten-speed “automatic”.
