For the first time in the history of Ukraine, a volunteer organization provided the military with such type of equipment. These are not just drones, but a full-fledged autonomous system.

The total cost of the Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial complex was $16,502,450. It included:

  • air communication system
  • mobile ground control complex
  • ground data terminal
  • recognition system "home-foreign"
  • three strike drones
  • several dozen adjusted aviation ammunition
  • other necessary ground equipment and spare parts

"This will greatly strengthen the power of our units. First of all, the intelligence units and secondly, the support of the actions of the special purpose units," - Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, commented on this event.

"The organization of such agreements, their contracting and logistics impose certain restrictions on publicity, but it significantly speeds up the end user's receipt of assistance, and I am grateful to the "Come Back Alive" team that they trusted me to see this project through from the beginning to the very end," - said Ruslana Velichko, the lawyer of the "Come Back Alive" Foundation.

Bayraktar TB2 is a strike operational tactical medium-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle with a long flight duration, equipped with an internal combustion engine and an automatic take-off and landing system. It is produced by the Turkish company Baykar Makina.

"Come Back Alive" is one of the largest funds to help Ukrainian military personnel, which has been operating since 2014. In March 2022, the Fund received permission to import goods for military purposes, which made it possible to reach a qualitatively new and large-scale level of procurement of aid to the defenders of Ukraine.
