The Urus, with a standard twin-turbocharged V8 engine, was modified to comply with Pikes Peak summit safety regulations. The passenger compartment is equipped with a safety cage; the standard seats are replaced with racing ones with a six-point harness, a fire suppression system is installed.
The car was shod with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires: 285/40 R22 at the front and 325/35 R22 at the rear.
The official premiere of the updated Lamborghini Urus will take place later in August, probably as part of Monterey Car Week. According to rumors, the novelty will receive a slightly modified design and a hybrid version.
