American startup Ryvid has introduced an electric motorcycle Anthem with an original battery design, interesting features and an attractive price.

The Ryvid Anthem is based on a stainless steel frame weighing only 5.4 kg. The main components and the traction battery are placed as low as possible to improve maneuverability and predictability in control. The curb weight was 109 kg with the battery or 79.4 kg in the "empty" version.

The developers took care of drivers of different heights. The Anthem has a height-adjustable seat with an adjustment range of 10.1 cm. The motorcycle is equipped with a 4.9-inch TFT display that shows speed, travel distance and other information.

A small air-cooled electric motor develops 10 hp. power and 72 Nm of torque. The maximum speed of the bike is limited to 120 km/h.

Perhaps the main feature of the Ryvid Anthem is its removable 4.3 kWh lithium-ion battery. The design weighs 29.5 kg and at the same time has its own small wheels for easy transportation. Thus, you can come from home to work, remove the battery pack, charge it in 6 hours from a regular outlet and install it back at the end of the working day.

The Ryvid Anthem has a range of approximately 120 km in economy mode and 80 km in economy mode. The 17-inch wheels are shod with 120/70 tires at the front and 160/60 at the rear. Hydraulic two-piston brakes with brake discs with a diameter of 310 and 240 mm are responsible for confident deceleration. The maximum allowable total weight of the driver and passenger is 181 kg.

Ryvid Anthem is available for pre-sales on August 14 for $7,800 for the Launch Edition, limited to 1,000 copies. The start of deliveries is scheduled for the summer of 2023.
