The teaser doesn't tell us much. In reality, all it shows is the SUV's refreshed front end, which includes modified LED daytime running lights and headlights. Lincoln refers to it as a "fresh take on a familiar face," which seems appropriate given that the current Corsair is quite attractive for an SUV.
We ran the teaser through Photoshop and found that, not only does it look like Lincoln has removed the secondary LEDs below the headlights, but also made some changes to the front grille. These speculated alterations result in a much more polished final product.
At this stage, the only other known detail about the 2023 Lincoln Corsair is that the car manufacturer will also update the rear end with new taillights and a bumper. A few changes could be made to interior of SUV as well, which would make it more luxurious than its predecessor.
Though we don't have all the details yet, we anticipate that the powertrain options for the 2023 model will be similar to those of the 2022 model. These likely include a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a turbocharged 2.3-liter engine, and a 266 hp plug-in hybrid with a 14.4 kWh battery pack. The current Corsair PHEV also has PowerSplit electric CVT unit driving all four wheels.
Whether there's a powertrain update or an upgrade in the cabin, we're just a few hours away from finding out. As previously stated, keep an eye on this space for fresh news.
