Spy photographers have recently taken pictures of the 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan testing on public roads. This is the first time they've seen the new infotainment setup inside the popular crossover.

Volkswagen is appearly testing a new, large tablet-style screen which would be set apart from the dashboard. This new display appears to be much larger than what's currently being used on the current Volkswagen Tiguan.

The screen will regulate temperature, seat heating, music, and more while in a landscape posture. It seems like the screen's size allows for many functions to be viewable at any one time, rather than being hidden behind menus as is often the case with smaller screens.

The test vehicle is wearing camouflage, which both reveals and conceals new design elements. It's difficult to tell which parts of the design are real cues and which ones have been added for deception.

The front of the car appears to be straighter and more squared off, which gives it a look that is more rugged. It has been rumored that the new Tiguan will grow slightly compared to the outgoing model.

The third-generation model is anticipated to retain its internal combustion powertrains, which must adhere to Euro 7 emission regulations. According to reports, the new model will be available in Europe by 2024. The American version, which would follow, should be ready shortly afterward.
