All three models are part of BYD's Dynasty series. Atto 3 is a C-segment SUV, the Han is the company's flagship all-electric sedan, and the Tang EV is its flagship E-segment SUV. All of them are powered by BYD's lithium iron phosphate Blade Battery, which comes with an 8-year warranty.
The BYD Atto 3 has a pre-sale price of €38,000 ($36,300). The BYD Han and Tang both have a pre-sale price of €72,000.
BYD's Atto 3 for European consumers has a battery capacity of 60.48 kWh and offers a WLTP range of 420 km.
The BYD Han has dual electric motors with a combined power of 380 kW or 516 hp and a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 3.9 seconds. The model is powered by an 85.4 kWh battery pack and has a WLTP range of 521 km.
The BYD Tang has seven seats and a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.6 seconds. It is powered by an 86.4 kWh battery pack and has a WLTP range of 400 km.
The three models will make their debut at the Paris Motor Show in October of next year. The final market prices and specifications for each car will be announced then, but we do know that these pre-sale prices are only valid in Germany. It's worth mentioning that Europe has different pricing structures from country to country, so keep that mind if you're interested in one of these cars.
Frankly speaking, BYD is not well known outside of China yet. Nevertheless, it is the world's largest manufacturer of battery-powered vehicles. In the first half of this year, BYD sold more than 640,000 electrified vehicles.
