The teaser image for the new Impreza gives us a glimpse of its hatchback silhouette. Right now, Subaru offers it as a sedan as well, but this may change with the redesign. It's hard to tell from the photo if the new Impreza will be taller than the current model, but with consumers increasingly interested in crossovers and SUVs, it's definitely possible.
Although we don't have a teaser image of the interior just yet, we anticipate that the vehicle will receive a digital driver's display, new infotainment screen, and redesigned dash. It should also come with all of the latest technological amenities and safety equipment like Subaru's EyeSight System.
Although unconfirmed, it's expected that the new Impreza will have all-wheel drive as a standard feature. The car currently holds a 2.0-liter boxer engine under the hood, but with only 152 horsepower (113 kilowatts) and 145 pound-feet (196 Newton-meters) of torque, it may not see any significant powertrain changes.
More information about the new Subaru Impreza will be revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17.
