For the past two months, Russia has been using Iranian kamikaze drones Shahed-136 against Ukraine. These sluggish and cheap drones are dangerous, so the Ukrainian military is employing some interesting technological tricks to down them.

The new weapon against low-flying drones is a metal frame with two modified 7.62 mm machine guns. The machine guns are called PK machine guns or "Kalashnikov's machine gun." They are mounted on the frame with a special sight installed between them.

Interestingly, these types of machine guns are usually found mounted on Soviet-era tanks and other armored vehicles, as well as those made in Russia. However, members of the National Guard of Ukraine converted them to target Iranian kamikaze drones.
