Toyota confirms that the "hybrid will reborn" on Wednesday, November 16 in Japan. Americans will see it on Tuesday, November 15 at 11:30 PM ET while Europeans will discover the car on Wednesday, November 16 at 4:30 AM GMT.

The new Prius will be revealed soon, and it is expected to have a swoopy shape for maximum efficiency. The headlights might look familiar because the Crown Sport compact crossover for the Japanese market has similar LED lights at the front. The sloping roofline suggests that the new Prius will be a hatchback/liftback, and there may also be another Prime hybrid with plug-in capabilities.

The next-generation Prius model is expected to arrive in the United States, bringing with it an even higher level of efficiency. Toyota has been experimenting with hydrogen-fueled combustion engines, and there is a rumor that a third version of the eco-friendly car will be released around 2025 with an ICE that runs on hydrogen. Although nothing is confirmed yet, it looks like the Prius has a bright future ahead!
