The Toyota Prius has, since its inception, had an unorthodox look. However, as we near the debut of the next-generation model later this week, it seems that styling will be much improved based on early signs and hints from teasers released thus far.

The latest preview of the new Prius gives us a glimpse at the back of the car. The 2023 Prius will have a wide LED light bar, similar to the one on the new Crown. That doesn't come as a surprise since last week's teaser showed a familiar headlight assembly. The front lighting signature was similar to the Crown Sport's, which is a small crossover for the Japanese market.

Toyota hasn't been specific about which type of hybrid they are referencing, but they did call it a "hybrid reborn." This suggests that there have been some major changes made to the upcoming car. Although the technical specifications of the car remain a mystery, we can see from the previous teaser image that aerodynamics will play an important role in its efficiency.

The world premiere hosted in Japan will be livestreamed on YouTube on November 15 at 11:30 PM ET (or November 16 at 4:30 AM GMT).
