The Peugeot PM-01 300 contains a 292.4cc single cylinder engine that is liquid-cooled and fuel injected, which allows the bike to have 29 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 23 Nm (17 ft-lbs) of torque at 7,000 rpm. The six-speed transmission sends power from the engine to the rear wheel. When compared to other bikes in its class -such as the Honda CB300R or BMW G 310 R - the PM-01 300 has similar power capabilities.
With the 17-inch tires - 110/70 at the front and 150/60 at the rear - and a weight of 162 kg (37 lbs), the Peugeot PM-01 300 should be nicely agile and suitable for both the urban jungle and overland curves.
The fuel tank on the naked bike can hold 12.5-liters, which will last a while given that the power output is small. Anodized gold inverted front forks give the bike a more premium look. The rear monoshock is preload-adjustable, and the bike has dual-channel ABS as standard. It comes with front and rear disc brakes measuring 280 and 240 millimeters respectively.
Some of the great features on this bike include full-LED lighting and a unique headlight design. You'll also appreciate the full-color TFT display that shows you all sorts of info and ride stats. Plus, it has a modern look that's sure to turn heads.
Though we don't yet know how much it will cost or when it will be available, the Peugeot PM-001 300 looks like it could roll off production any day now.
