This massive motorhome is based on the Chevrolet Silverado 6500 HD chassis and uses a Duramax 6.6L turbodiesel V8 engine, sending all the power to the wheels via a 6-speed transmission.
With increased water and fuel capacities, full 270-degree window views, an optional washer/dryer unit, and a massive 18,000-watt lithium-ion battery capacity - the SX makes sure that even the farthest outdoor adventures are still as comfortable as home.
The SX's body is made of lightweight materials, as is customary for EarthRoamer models. The specific construction method used is called Vacuum Infusion Process (VIP), which involves bonding two carbon fiber skins to a structural foam core. The end result is a monocoque carbon fiber body that outperforms traditional RV and overland camper bodies in both strength and lightness.
The EarthRoamer cabin is designed for luxury and comfort, with modern amenities you'd expect from an off-grid motorhome. The cabin can seat up to six people and has a full bathroom complete with rainfall shower.
The EarthRoamer SX was unveiled at the SEMA Show in 2022 and is expected to cost $995,000.
