In the spring of next year, Ford will launch its Bronco SUV in Europe. It will be available with four- and six-cylinder gasoline engines.

American off-roader will hit the Euro market with a selection of two powertrains. The Bronco's base engine will be a 2.3-liter four-cylinder Ecoboost, which is expected to offer close to 300 horsepower (224 kilowatts). The top of the range engine will be the 2.7-liter V6 turbo unit, which is anticipated to have an output of around 330 hp (246 kW).

The 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine available in the United States won't be sold in Europe because of stricter emissions standards, Automotive News reports.

According to early information, the Bronco will have a starting price of about €60,000 in Germany, which corresponds to around $63,270 with the current exchange rates. For comparison, the base two-door model in the United States starts at $32,295 for the 2023 model year.

The Bronco will have to compete against the Jeep Wrangler and Land Rover Defender. Though they are dissimilar, these three models all mostly function as hardcore off-roaders that can still be used for everyday activities.
