The car is expected to feature cosmetic changes, rather than any radical modifications, and is likely to be powered by a turbocharged 1.8-liter gasoline engine producing 296 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. This engine is shared with the Alpine A110 and will be paired with a dual-clutch, six-speed automatic transmission.
Production of the Megane RS Ultime will be limited, with an estimated price of over €50,000 in France, where the regular Megane model retails for €44,650.
The Tokyo Auto Salon will take place from January 13-15 at the Makuhari Messe convention center.
