Nissan is set to unveil a new electric concept car, the Max-Out, on February 1 at 8 PM EST (February 2 at 1 AM GMT). The automaker has released a YouTube video teaser of the vehicle, which suggests that the car has been built in the metal since its initial unveiling in November 2021.

Nissan has described the Max-Out as a "two-seater electric roadster," with an "ultra-lightweight" construction and all-wheel drive. The company has also mentioned the car's "unique ability to morph the seating, flattening into the floor to offer more interior space when desired."

The Max-Out was showcased alongside other potential future models, including the Chill-Out and the Surf-Out. Despite the excitement surrounding the concept car, it is unlikely that Nissan will put the Max-Out into production. The company is focusing on more profitable segments, such as SUVs, and is expected to turn the Leaf into a crossover for a 2025 launch.
