Spy photographers spotted another prototype of the refreshed Porsche Taycan during road tests. This prototype is interesting with new headlights, which are also expected on the production car.

The facelifted Porsche Taycan is set to show off its new Matrix LED headlights, which consist of 16,000 individually controllable micro-LEDs. The headlight design features four DRL components surrounding a central headlight, with two lower lights on each side containing a wide-angle and a telephoto lens that produce beams of light 600 m (1,969 ft) down the road. The outer light in each headlight pod has a wide-angle lens, while the inner ones have a telephoto lens that produce beams of light half as high and half as wide, but is far brighter.

Porsche has stated that the Matrix LED headlights won’t be standard or available in lower-spec Taycans, however they may restyle the base lights. It is still unclear what else will be included in the facelift; however it is rumored there may be more driving range and additional power with reports suggesting up to 1,000 hp (1,014 hp). The facelifted Porsche Taycan is expected to be revealed later this year.
