Lamborghini has been spotted testing its Urus PHEV in the Arctic, to ensure the electrified super SUV can withstand harsh winter weather conditions. The spy shots also show potential updates to the vehicle's exterior.

According to a report by Motor1, the Urus PHEV could feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain borrowed from Porsche, including a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 and electric motor from the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. The report states that "Lamborghini could tweak it to make upwards of 820 hp in top trim, with a less-powerful variant making around 675 hp." This would make the Urus PHEV the new flagship SUV for Lamborghini, surpassing the Urus Performante.

The test vehicle was also seen sporting a restyled front fascia, different lights, and a slightly altered hood, however, there have been no reported changes to the sides or rear of the vehicle.

Quoting the report, "With sightings becoming more frequent, we could see a reveal sometime in the first half of this year."
