The Jet Shark is the latest development from Innespace Productions, the creators of the Seabreacher, which was introduced over a decade ago and quickly became known for its visually-striking design and unique abilities.
According to Rob Innes, founder of Innespace Productions, the Jet Shark was created in response to a demand from the Seabreacher community to accommodate more than one passenger. The Jet Shark prototype currently has a four-seat configuration, but the company plans to introduce a six-seat commercial version soon. The Jet Shark retains the impressive features that made the Seabreacher a hit, including the ability to dive briefly, launch in the air, and perform barrel rolls.
Powered by a 420-hp Kodiak Marine engine, the Jet Shark has been tested to reach a top speed of 45 mph, with the commercial version aiming for 55 mph. The watertight cabin is climate-controlled and offers dual controls, panoramic windows, and a retractable snorkel. The fin is equipped with a camera to provide live footage from above the waterline.
Innes says that pricing for the Jet Shark will range from $250,000 to $300,000, making it a premium water toy with limited appeal. However, its six-seat capacity and impressive features make it a solid choice for leisure and transport operators. The Jet Shark is still in the early prototype stage and pre-orders will open later this year, with no delivery timeline set yet.
