With just a day away from the official unveiling, Volkswagen gives us a teaser of what to expect with the Atlas family. Featuring an LED running light-enhanced face and colorful interior, the company is set to impress.

The venerable Volkswagen Atlas has been gaining popularity since it was first introduced in late 2016. But now, the German carmaker is once again stoking the enthusiasm with their upcoming facelift for both the Atlas and its more compact variant -the Atlas Cross Sport- planned for release in 2023.

A teaser posted to social media has given us a peek into this revamp, with many eager fans left wanting more of what VW has up its sleeve. As promised by the company, they will be revealing their new models on February 9. While we can't tell you exactly what those upgrades might be, here's a few highlights based on what we know so far.

Just by looking at the front of one of these models, it's clear that there are some impressive changes being made to its exterior design. With an LED running light surrounding both sides of the grille, it adds an unmistakable level of sophistication while mimicking other luxury cars currently on the market. Plus, there appears to be narrower corner vents and alterations made to the headlights themselves which could give them a bolder presence on our roads.

Meanwhile inside this SUV, it seems like VW has put considerable effort into making sure passengers get top-notch treatment too. Based on photos, there looks like there will be some interesting illuminated patterns featured around dash area along with additions such as ‘Cross Sport’ branding that might catch your eyes during night drives.

Whether or not these are just minor changes that come with any typical mid-cycle refresh remains to be seen when VW finally reveals these vehicles during media day for 2023 Chicago Auto Show.
