Hyundai's Ioniq 6 is in competition with Tesla's Model 3 in terms of pricing and configuration options. The Ioniq 6 is slightly cheaper at the base level, but the Model 3 can quickly become more expensive with additional features. The base Ioniq 6 SE RWD has a shorter range than the base Model 3. Tesla currently does not offer the Model 3 Long Range, but the Model 3 Performance has a range of 315 miles. The Model 3 is currently eligible for federal tax credits, but the rules have been uncertain this year.
