BMW has announced that the waiting list for its limited-production, high-performance SUV, the BMW XM Label Red, is now open on its customer-facing website for Germany.

BMW's range-topping SUV, the BMW XM Label Red, has garnered attention since its official preview last year. The Bavarian automaker has now announced that the waiting list for the SUV is open on its customer-facing website for Germany. The SUV is set to officially debut in fall 2023, and the waiting list will allow customers to secure their slots for the limited-production, high-performance SUV.

The BMW XM Label Red is a high-powered hybrid SUV that is expected to produce 748 horsepower (550 kilowatts) and 738 pound-feet (1,000 Newton-meters) of torque. This power comes from a twin-turbo4.4-liter V8 engine combined with a single electric motor. The Label Red also boasts a unique exterior design with red trim around the windows, grille, and wheels, and a red XM badge on the grille. The interior is expected to feature special trim to match the vehicle's overall theme. The Label Red may also feature upgrades to its suspension and braking systems, enhancing its overall performance and driving experience.

BMW has also revealed the pricing for the BMW XM Label Red. The SUV will start at $185,000, which is significantly higher than the standard XM's starting price of $159,000 (plus $995 destination and handling charges). The most expensive configuration of the standard XM will set customers back by $168,395.
