The Rimac Nevera, an electric hypercar, has once again demonstrated its dominance by setting an astonishing 23 new records in a single day at the Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) facility in Germany.

During the tests, conducted on the facility's 4-kilometer (2.49-mile) straights, the Nevera shattered expectations and surpassed its own performance figures. Independent representatives from Dewesoft and RaceLogic were present to meticulously verify the timings and confirm the car's exceptional speed.

Equipped with road-legal Michelin Cup 2 R tires, the Nevera showcased its incredible acceleration by achieving a mind-boggling 0-60 mph in just 1.74 seconds, outperforming Rimac's official time of 1.85 seconds. Notably, the sprint did not begin from a standstill but factored in a one-foot rollout. It's worth mentioning that the test track surface was not specially prepared, further highlighting the car's impressive capabilities.

In addition to the blistering acceleration, the Rimac Nevera also achieved a new world record for the fastest production vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 249 mph (400 km/h) and then return to 0. It completed this remarkable feat in a mere 29.94 seconds, outshining the previous record set by the Koenigsegg Regera in 2019.

To commemorate this exceptional achievement, the Nevera donned a special livery paying homage to the founder Mate Rimac's own BMW e-M3, an electrified 1984 3 Series E30 that set multiple records in 2012. This impressive display of engineering prowess highlights how Rimac has pushed the boundaries of performance to new heights.

Furthermore, the Nevera's records extended beyond speed alone. It also set a new benchmark for the shortest stopping distance from 62 mph (100 km/h). It came to a halt in an astounding 29.12 meters (95.53 feet) according to Racelogic, or 28.96 meters (95 feet) as verified by Dewesoft.
