Yamaha is marking its 30th anniversary of e-bike manufacturing with the introduction of a limited edition model. The 30th Anniversary Special Edition YDX-MORO 07 pays homage to Yamaha's pioneering role as the first company to bring a production e-bike to the market.

The YDX-MORO e-MTB, initially released in 2020 and refreshed in 2022. This full-suspension electric mountain bike features the unique Dual Twin frame design, which divides the down tube and top tube into two separate frame members. The patented frame design incorporates air gaps that accommodate the battery and rear suspension, resulting in a compact and lightweight structure without compromising performance.

The 30th Anniversary Special Edition YDX-MORO 07 boasts impressive range efficiency, higher torque, and Yamaha's most advanced drive technology to date—the PW-X3 motor. Equipped with the Interface X control unit and Yamaha's quad sensor system, this drive unit offers a smooth and powerful riding experience. The Special Edition model also features a polished aluminum finish, Yamaha racing blue accents, a 30th Anniversary badge, and a commemorative decal.

The mid-drive motor has a maximum torque of 85 Nm and comes with a 500W peak power rating in its highest power operation mode.

Priced at $6,499, the 30th Anniversary Special Edition YDX-MORO 07 is a mere $100 premium over the existing YDX-MORO 07 model.
